Alyssa BellIn 2013 Alyssa received her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from UMKC, and in May of 2016 received her Master of Music in Viola Performance at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. Her love for music has motivated her to inspire all generations of music lovers, including welcoming new-comers to the classical music world.
While in Kansas City, she has been a member of several area orchestras such as: Kansas City Symphony, Topeka Symphony, and Symphony of Northwest Arkansas. Additionally, she has enjoyed experiences performing with groups such as: Trans Siberian Orchestra, Peter Gabriel, Josh Groban, and Rod Stewart. Alyssa's passion for music has allowed her to expand her devotion to sharing multi-genre music with all. Her goal is to help connect people through various types music. In 2013 along with the help of her brother, she founded Classical Revolution KC: an organization that strives to make live classical music performances accessible to people of all walks of life. These qualities can be observed in her work with Acoustic Ambiance KC through her intent to make your event both seamless and beautiful! |
brett jacksonSince arriving in 2009, Brett Jackson has been establishing himself as a first-call woodwind
artist in the flourishing Kansas City music scene. Stepping between genres, his performance and recording credits include Bobby Watson, Cyrille Aimée, Johnny Mathis, Roy Hargrove, Jerry Bergonzi, Jaleel Shaw, Tech N9ne & Krizz Kaliko, Kelly Finnigan, Monophonics, The Project H, Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, Kansas City Symphony, Kansas City Repertory Theater and the Broadway tours of Hello Dolly, Chicago, Motown and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. He currently teaches woodwinds at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Jackson can be heard on “We Live Among The Lines”, “Become Light” and “Everyday, Forever” from The Project H, vinyl 45s and full length LP “Soul Jazz Fridays” and “The Basement Beat” from Chris Hazelton’s Boogaloo 7, “Make It Right” and “Perseverance” by the Zack Mufasa Band, “Rhapsody” by the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra, “Go” by Krizz Kaliko and “The Storm” byTech N9ne. Ezgi KarakusTurkish cellist, Ezgi Karakus began her cello education at the age of eleven with Professor Caglayan Unal Sumer, and attended Dokuz Eylul University State Conservatory in her native Izmir, Turkey. While attending the conservatory she thrice won the concerto competition, and before arriving in the U.S., joined several festivals including the Youngenc Philharmonic Orchestra in Bremen, Germany. Ezgi completed her Master of Arts at Marshall University under Dr. Solen Dikener's mentorship where she was awarded first prize in the Jackson Balshaw Music Competition, and won the Marshall University Concerto Competition. Currently, Ezgi is a teaching artist at the Harmony Project Kansas City and pursuing her D.M.A in Cello Performance at the UMKC Conservatory Music&Dance.
